Baby Shower Catering

Last Friday afternoon, I catered a baby shower for a friend's office.  I had fun and felt proud of everything I put out.  Plus, I got to cook in a big fancy kitchen... unlike my microscopic, ghetto kitchen.

These are citrus cupcakes with topped with toasted coconut.  They're supposed to look like little nests with speckled, unhatched eggs buried in the center.

Baby bottle sugar cookies with coffee spiked icing.

Crispy parmesan cups to hold the creamy thyme smashed potatoes.

More sugar cookies.  This time with the babe's initials.

I didn't have a camera at the host house, so I don't have pictures of the rest of the menu, but it included ...
1. Rosemary steeped tomato bisque with mini-grilled cheese
2. Green grape, blackberry, and cantaloupe skewers
3. Lemon and dill cucumber sandwiches on millet toast
4. Tarragon chicken salad in endive spears

Aren't you hungry?
