Christina's World
This is one of my favorite images from Lonny IV. I loved that Houston house and I loved that living room. I also love that painting over the mantle... which I noticed is an abridged version of this well-known painting by Andrew Wyeth.
Christina Olson was Wyeth's neighbor. Here's a New York Times article on a Wyeth exhibit in Philadelphia.

I love the extraction of the girl from her context and how she floats on that white wall! It makes my imagination run wild about what she's looking at. So pretty.
this was one of mine too! loved all the textures in the room...and great eye with that painting above the mantel!! loved this post!
